Why do I see an exclamation point in My Scores?

If you see an exclamation point (!) next to a score in your My Scores panel, it means Perusall was unable to send the grade back to your school's learning management system gradebook (Canvas, Blackboard, Moodle, etc.).

To clear the error, follow these steps:

1. Log in to your school's LMS (Canvas, Blackboard, Moodle, etc.).
2. Navigate to the specific assignment that shows the exclamation point.
3. Click the assignment link to launch Perusall directly from your LMS.

The exclamation point should disappear shortly, and the score will typically appear in your official gradebook within several hours. 

If the above does not remove the error, please contact your instructor directly.
