How do I filter my view of comments or highlights?

If you're viewing a book, video, podcast, or other resource in Perusall, you have the ability to customize your view of comments and highlights created. this is great depending on how you prefer to sort through class discussion while also focusing on your own work. 

  1. Open the content you are working on.
  2. Click the Landscape Classic Icon (1).svgAll comments filter located on the top tool bar.  comments filter -students
    • All comments allows you to view all comments and threads. 
    • My comments filters out everyones comments but the ones you created. 
    • Comments where I was @mentioned filters only comments where someone tagged you. 
    • Specific hashtag... allows you to filter all comments that contain a certain hashtag created for the course. 
    • Posted since date...allows you to filter comments posted since a specific date.
    • Unread comments only filters out all comments you have clicked on reviewed.
    • Questions only filters out all comments that were not marked as a question. 
    • Unanswered questions only filters out all comments that were marked as a question and not responded to. 
    • Instructor comments only filters out everyones comments but your teacher's. 
    • No comments filters out all comments including your own. 

To reiterate, yellow highlights on the course content means a student mark up, while blue highlights means an instructor mark up. If you prefer to adjust the highlight colors, select the Landscape Classic Icon.svgOptions button in the top tool bar and select Color highlights by student.
