How do I filter my view of comments or highlights?

In Perusall, you have the ability to customize your view of comments and highlights created. this is great depending on how you prefer to sort through class discussion while also focusing on your own work. 

  1. Open the content you are working on.
  2. Click the All comments filter located on the top tool bar.  A dropdown will appear with the following options:
Note: Options like Specific person will prompt an additional selection menu to refine your view.

Filter options

  • All comments: Shows all comments and threads.

  • My comments: Shows only your comments.

  • Others' comments: Shows only comments created by other users.

  • Comments where I was @mentioned: Displays comments where you were specifically tagged.

  • Specific Person: Filters to a specific user's comments. Select this to open a secondary menu and choose a specific user's comments.

  • Specific hashtag: Filters comments containing a specific course hashtag.

  • Posted since: Shows comments from a specific date onward.

  • Unread comments: Only shows comments you haven't reviewed yet.

  • Questions only: Shows comments manually marked as questions.

  • Unanswered questions only: Filters for questions that have not yet received a response.

  • Instructor comments: Shows only comments made by the teacher.

  • No comments: Hides all highlights and comments for a clean reading view.
