  • Updated

To see exactly how students will experience your course, select Eye Regular.svg Student view in the left navigation panel of your course. When you do this, Perusall will create a temporary student account for you and log you in to that account. When you are done, log out or close your browser window. FAQ

Question Icon.svg Q: Can I interact with assignments during in Student view?
Yes. Student view creates a test student account and enrolls that student into the course. The student account isn't deleted when you leave student view. So it's just like commenting as a regular student

Question Icon.svg Q: Why am I prompted to make a purchase when accessing a book from the catalog?
If your course includes materials that require purchase, the student preview will display the purchase page as students would see it when accessing the material for the first time. To view the content of the material itself, switch back to the instructor view, as the format and setup of the material remain consistent between views.

Question Icon.svg Q: Why don’t I see all features in the preview?
Some instructor-only features, such as analytics, are not visible in student preview mode.
