There are three ways to view comments submitted by an individual student in Perusall:
1. View comments in context (within the assignment)
To see a student’s comments directly in the document:
- Open the relevant assignment.
- Use the filter dropdown at the top of the page.
- Select Specific student and choose the student you want to review.
This shows their comments in context alongside the material.
2. View comments in a table format (from the Assignments tab)
To see all comments from a student in a table format:
- Go to the Assignments tab on the course homepage.
- Click on the assignment you want to review.
- Select the All comments button.
- Choose the specific student from the dropdown menu.
This view provides a sortable, searchable list of all comments.
3. Review by student (from the Students tab)
To browse all of a student’s comments by assignment:
- Go to the Students tab on the course homepage.
- Click on the student’s name.
- In the side panel, click Review comments by assignment and select an assignment to view the student’s comments.
