Add a book from the Perusall Catalog
Add a book or textbook from Perusall’s extensive Catalog!—students simply purchase the book directly in your Perusall course, or through the university bookstore. For more information, see below:

Add multimedia materials
Easily create a low- or no-cost course by using journal articles, self-created materials, web pages, YouTube and Vimeo videos, podcasts, etc. For more information, see below:

Use Copyright Clearance
If you have materials that are not freely shareable with students (e.g., a book chapter), upload the content and then click Clear digital rights to leverage Perusall’s partnership with the Copyright Clearance Center. For more information, see below:

Build your assignments
Once your course materials are ready, create assignments under the Assignments tab. You can mix different types of content in a single assignment—(e.g. combining a textbook chapter, a video, and a quiz). If you've enabled automatic scoring, assignments will follow your course’s grading setup, though you can customize scoring for individual assignments if needed.
